This painting started as a very monochrome poured style image, then I got lost in the colors! Multiple techniques used: pouring, smearing, plastic blotting, putty knife line work. Gold metallic paint brings in a very interesting depth and shine, it does fun stuff to the blues and greens. I want to go there, a paradise. As a surprise, try this piece upside down, really, it’s amazing. The sky changes everything.
