My husband suggested this idea after I finished the Birches. I restarted several times before this finally felt done. The first comment I received was something like, ‘why is there only 1 tree in the middle, I thought you said it was 2 trees.’ Then I realized I had hung it upside down. It has become a reminder about perspective and keeping an open mind. This painting can be hung either way.
