The beach is a favorite subject for me, different seasons, different weather, the water / land interplay if always drawing me in. This painting stayed with me a lot longer than others, it just kept not feeling complete. I would add something here and there - texture, shine, grass. Until, finally it didn’t need anything more from me. And still I kept it in the studio. Now it is time to let it out into the world. Enjoy this cooler feeling beach moment, early spring? late fall? late summer afternoon? or a late morning in the winter?
